Breakwater Oyster: Breakwater Oysters are grown in Portsmouth, Rhode Island,in the protected waters of Long Neck Cove, which is fed by the Sakonnet River. The shallow waters and continual filling and flushing of the cove compose an ideal environment for oysters. The cove itself is located in the northeastern most corner of the cove, surrounded by march to the east and west and to the north is a 'rip rap' breakwater, giving the oysters their name. A perfect combination of briny and sweet followed by a mellow earthiness.
Walrus & Carpenter: Characterized by their balanced flavor profile: an initial burst of salinity gives way to a sweet, earthy finish with subtle hints of stone and briny olive.
