The eels are hot smoked using a traditional European recipe of oak and alderwood. The high natural fat content of our eels, paired with a salt brine and rich smoke flavor, creates a savory, delicate, and versatile product. Whether served as an appetizer, salad topper, or entree, it has a satisfying combinations of flavors rich in proteins that naturally high in vitamin D and A.
Hot Smoked American eel fillets -- vacuum packed and previously frozen. Will contain 4 ounces per pack.

Ingredients:
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup white sugar
½ cup mirin (Japanese sweet wine)
Instructions: Heat soy sauce, sugar, and mirin into a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir until liquid is reduced to about 3/4 cup
